  1. Download the lensmode.zip file

  2. Open Blender β†’ Edit > Preferences β†’ Add-ons

  3. Click Install...

  4. Select the .zip file

  5. Enable LensMode

⚑ Quick Start

  1. Select your camera in the scene

  2. Press N to open the sidebar

  3. Open the LensMode tab

  5. Click Load Preset and choose a lens
    (e.g., Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L)

  6. Switch to Compositor Workspace

  7. Press F12 to render 🎬

Use this to verify everything works correctly:

  1. Install addon (no errors)

  2. Create scene with default camera

  3. Enable LensMode

  4. Apply preset: Canon EF 24mm f/1.4L II

  5. Open compositor β†’ nodes should appear automatically

  6. Render β†’ barrel distortion should be visible

  7. Adjust K1 β†’ confirm real-time update

  8. Apply Cooke Anamorphic/i 25mm

  9. Confirm anamorphic node appears

  10. Disable LensMode β†’ nodes removed

  11. Re-enable β†’ nodes restored
